Prashant Kishor Dissolves Jan Suraaj Party Units After Bihar Poll Debacle

Patna: In the wake of the Jan Suraaj Party’s disappointing performance in the Bihar Assembly elections, party founder Prashant Kishor has dissolved all existing organisational units. He announced that new units will be reconstituted within one and a half months.
The decision was taken based on a resolution passed at the party’s National Council meeting held in Patna, chaired by state president Manoj Bharatiya. According to party spokesperson Sayeed Masihuddin, organisational bodies from the panchayat level up to the state level have been dissolved.
Despite contesting 238 seats in the Assembly elections, the Jan Suraaj Party failed to win even a single seat.
