Man Dies After Innova Hits Bike at Red Signal on Faridabad–Gurugram Road

Gurugram: One person died in a car accident when an Innova car hit a bike that was waiting at a red signal on the Faridabad–Gurugram road. Shakir (50), a native of Bijnor in Uttar Pradesh, died while undergoing treatment. The accident, which occurred on Monday, was captured on the dashboard camera of another vehicle.

Shakir and his brother Rashid, both painting workers, were returning after work. When their bike stopped suddenly upon seeing the red signal, the Innova car, coming at high speed, crashed into it. The bike was completely crushed between the car in front and the Innova. Both brothers were wearing helmets at the time of the accident.

After the accident, the injured were taken to a hospital by another Innova driver. Later, Shakir was transferred to a hospital in Faridabad for specialised treatment, but he died during treatment. The police filed a case based on Rashid’s complaint. Following the accident, a search was launched for the car driver who had fled the scene.
