'Jag Laadki’ Safely Arrives in Gujarat with 80,000 Tons of Oil

Gandhinagar: Amid the intensifying Israel-Iran conflict in the Middle East, an Indian oil tanker that was on the brink of danger has safely reached a Gujarat port. The oil tanker, named Jag Laadki, has anchored at Vadinar port in Gujarat with 80,886 metric tons of oil.
The journey through the Strait of Hormuz became a major cause for concern as conflict erupted in the region. The ship continued its voyage amid missile attacks between Iran and Israel.
With ongoing security threats in international shipping lanes, the safe arrival of the vessel has come as a significant relief to both the Indian Ministry of External Affairs and the Ministry of Petroleum. There are continuing concerns that the regional conflict could impact the Indian market and crude oil imports.
However, measures to ensure the safety of Indian vessels, including vigilance by the Navy, are in place. Authorities have confirmed that all crew members aboard the ship are safe.
