Bajrang Dal Threatens Women Wearing Santa Caps in Delhi Amid Attacks on Christmas Celebrations

New Delhi: As Sangh Parivar attacks against Christmas celebrations continue across the country, fresh threats and violence by the Bajrang Dal have been reported in Delhi. In the latest incident, Bajrang Dal workers allegedly threatened women wearing Santa Claus caps at the Lajpat Nagar market in the national capital.
The group shouted at them to leave the area and issued threats, saying that such celebrations should be confined to their homes. Videos of the incident are now widely circulating on social media.
Just days ago, Sangh Parivar elements threatened Rajasthani street vendors selling Christmas items in Odisha. The vendors, who had come from Rajasthan, were intimidated by a group shouting that “this is a Hindu nation.” They were demanded to immediately stop selling Christmas caps, stars, and other decorative items. The attack targeted vendors operating on the streets of Bhubaneswar.
A BJP district vice president Anju Bhargav assaulted and abused a visually impaired girl in MP's Jabalpur, claiming she was enabling ‘religious conversion’.
Meanwhile, widespread protests have erupted over the Uttar Pradesh government’s decision to deny Christmas holidays to students. The UP government has directed schools to hold programmes marking the birth centenary of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee on Christmas Day. Authorities have also made student attendance mandatory on that day.
