Tipper Hits Bike and Car in Thiruvananthapuram After Losing Control; One Person Dies

Thiruvananthapuram: A 22-year-old youth was killed in a road accident after a tipper lorry lost control and rammed into a bike and a car in Thiruvananthapuram. The deceased has been identified as Adithyan, a native of Vembayam. The female passenger who was travelling with him sustained serious injuries.

The accident occurred around 2 pm at Nagarukuzhi in Venjaramoodu. The tipper lorry, which was carrying stones, reportedly lost control and rolled backward, crashing into the bike and a nearby car.

Both paasengers in the bike were rushed to a hospital with severe injuries. Adithyan later succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment.

The car involved in the accident was carrying two teachers from Malappuram. They were rescued by the locals after the vehicle was cut open. Their injuries are reported to be non-serious, and they have also been admitted to hospital.
