'Whoever Wears the Uniform, I Too Am Entitled to Your Protection Under Law; I Will Keep Knocking on Your Door,' Says Ansiba Against Police

Kochi: Actress Ansiba Hassan has alleged that police officials misled her despite the intervention of the Home Minister to stop the circulation of a video on Instagram that she says insulted her womanhood.

In a Facebook post, Ansiba claimed she came to know only later that the police had not yet registered an FIR in the case. She alleged that the police were attempting to help the accused.

Ansiba clarified that she did not call the Home Minister to demand the registration of an FIR based on her complaint. Instead, she said she had sought the Minister's urgent intervention to stop the circulation on Instagram of a video that she alleged was defamatory and degrading to her womanhood.
