'Another Epic Fury': Trump Warns of Fresh US Military Action Against Iran if No Deal Is Reached

Florida: US President Donald Trump has warned that Washington could launch another military operation against Iran if Tehran refuses to reach an agreement with the United States. Trump threatened a new “Operation Epic Fury” if Iran fails to agree to a deal.

“We’ll do another little Epic Fury, or they’ll make a deal. If they’re smart, they’ll say, ‘Let’s get down to business,’” Trump said at a Republican Party campaign event in Florida.

Operation Epic Fury was the joint military operation launched by the US and Israel against Iran in February. Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was among those killed in the attacks.

Trump also spoke about Operation Midnight Hammer, the US military operation against Iran, claiming that it had destroyed the country’s nuclear enrichment facilities.

His warning came hours after US Ambassador to Turkey Tom Barrack said that Washington could attack Iran later this week. Speaking on a podcast, Barrack said Trump was clear-eyed about the prospect of military action but remained willing to negotiate a deal at any time.

Iran, meanwhile, has also warned the United States against further attacks, telling Washington not to “play with fire”. According to Reuters, Iran has said that if the US and Israel continue their attacks, it could target undersea communication cables.
