Rain Washes Out Pakistan vs New Zealand Super 8 Clash in Colombo

Colombo: Due to rain, the first match of the Super 8 stage of the T20 Cricket World Cup could not be played. The match between Pakistan and New Zealand was scheduled to be played in Colombo at 7:00 PM. Not even a single ball was bowled.

Pakistan won the toss and chose to bat. Both teams are in the second group and had reached the Super 8 stage after performing well in the earlier stage of the tournament. Since the game was abandoned, each team will receive one point.
