Tamil Nadu Assembly Election: TVK Announces Candidates, Vijay to Contest in Two Constituencies

Chennai: Actor and Tamilaka Vetri Kazhagam (TVK) president Vijay is set to contest in the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections. He will be contesting in two constituencies: Perambur and Trichy East.
It is noteworthy that Vijay will contest in Perambur, a stronghold of the DMK, and in Trichy East, a constituency with a significant minority vote share. TVK's manifesto has also been released.
Addressing his supporters, Vijay urged them to vote for TVK and its party symbol, the whistle. He emphasised that the contest is between DMK and TVK, and stated that he, C. Joseph Vijay, is contesting as part of a people's alliance against M. K. Stalin.
