London: The Students’ Federation of India–United Kingdom (SFI-UK) has announced a series of orientation sessions aimed at supporting students preparing to begin their studies in the United Kingdom during the September 2026 intake.

The first session, scheduled for July 4, will focus on navigating the UK student visa process, timelines and tips to a successful Visa application to the UK.

According to the organisers, the session will be led by Nupur Paliwal, a member of the Compliance Team specialising in visas and international student advisory services. The online session will begin at 7.30 pm IST (3 pm BST) and forms part of a broader orientation initiative being organised by SFI-UK for incoming international students.

Organisers said the upcoming sessions in the series will address issues beyond visa procedures, including accommodation options in the UK, financial planning for students, health and wellbeing support, and information related to part-time employment and workplace rights.

SFI-UK has invited students planning to travel to the UK this year to register in advance and participate in the orientation programme. Registration: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScIh4Mn9GJxdPPTTIyYXDlfUH3og7-FUuayhT_FhL_0qyOjng/viewform?usp=dialog

Registration for the session is open through an online form released by the organisers. SFI-UK also said updates regarding future sessions will be shared through its official social media platforms.
