Nine Arrested for Impersonating Students During NEET-UG Re-test

Patna: Nine people have been arrested for impersonating students in the NEET re-test, with those caught having appeared for the exam in place of the actual candidates. The arrests were made in Bihar. Police said outsiders had taken the exam on behalf of some students. Twelve people linked to the racket have been questioned by police.
Meanwhile, in Uttar Pradesh, a SIM card and old question papers were recovered from a student who appeared for the exam, following which the student was taken into police custody. The student arrested has been identified as Prince Dubey, a native of Ballia. The NTA has announced that the process of evaluating the exam has begun, with results expected to be declared by the end of this month.
