Mumbai: Three young men were killed and another was critically injured after a BMW car travelling at high speed hit a divider and overturned on Mumbai's Coastal Road. The deceased have been identified as Sanay Gujjar (21), Aditya Jakasania (19) and Dhairya Sheth (17). Aditya Oswal (23) is undergoing treatment for serious injuries. Further details about them were not immediately available. The accident occurred around 5.30 am on Sunday near Lotus Jetty, opposite Lala Lajpatrai College. The car was travelling from Marine Drive towards Haji Ali when the accident occurred. The Coastal Road control room said the vehicle was travelling at high speed and the driver lost control. The car reportedly hit the divider before reportedly plunging around 75 feet. The four were reportedly BBA students at a private management college in Vile Parle. Police suspect overspeeding to be the preliminary cause of the accident. The youths were rushed to hospital immediately after the accident, but doctors confirmed that three of them had died at the spot.
