Cricketer Mohammed Siraj Slams Air India Express After 4-Hour Delay; Airline Issues Apology

Mumbai: Indian cricketer Mohammed Siraj publicly criticised Air India Express, calling his journey with the airline the “worst airline experience”. The cricketer expressed his frustration on X after the flight was delayed for four hours without any explanation.
Air India Express later responded to Siraj’s post with an apology.
Siraj wrote:
“The flight has been delayed for 4 hours and still no information. We are just stuck here. This is the worst airline experience.”
The Air India Express flight IX 2884, scheduled to depart from Guwahati to Hyderabad at 7.25 pm, was delayed and later cancelled. Following Siraj’s complaint, Air India Express issued a statement expressing regret. The airline said it was sorry for the inconvenience caused to Siraj and explained that the flight had to be cancelled due to unforeseen operational reasons.
