Left Youth Organisations Stage Flash Protest on Delhi’s Sansad Marg; Several Detained

New Delhi: Left youth organisations staged a flash protest on Sansad Marg in Delhi. Tensions escalated when protesters attempted to cross the barricades.

Police personnel deployed to control the demonstration stopped the protesters and detained several of them. The protesters were dragged and forced into police vehicles.

Clashes broke out between the police and protesters as the demonstrators tried to breach the barricades. Left youth organisations have been holding continuous protests in the national capital, demanding the resignation of Gyanesh Kumar.

Earlier in the day, CJP leaders including Ashutosh Ranka and Saurav Das also held a flash protest at Jantar Mantar, after they were denied permission to protest there.
