Left Front Takes Lead in Five Constituencies as Tamil Nadu Vote Counting Progresses

Chennai: As vote counting continues in the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections, the Left Front has taken the lead in five constituencies. According to current trends, candidates from the CPI(M) and CPI are ahead with significant margins in these seats.
The Left Front is leading in Thiruthuraipoondi, Thali, Srivilliputhur, Padmanabhapuram, and Keezh Velur constituencies.
In Padmanabhapuram, CPI(M) candidate Chellaswamy R has secured 10,344 votes and is leading by 822 votes. In Keezhvelur, CPI(M) candidate Latha T has received 7,060 votes and is maintaining a clear lead of 250 votes. In Srivilliputhur, CPI(M) candidate Mahalingam P is ahead with 2,893 votes, holding a lead of 456 votes.
In Thiruthuraipoondi, CPI candidate Marimuthu K is making a strong showing with 21,983 votes and a substantial lead of 4,488 votes. In Thali constituency, CPI candidate Ramachandran T is leading with 14,114 votes, ahead by 743 votes.
As counting progresses, the Left Front is expected to further increase its lead in these constituencies.
