Japan Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi Arrives in India

New Delhi: Japan’s Prime Minister, Sanae Takaichi, arrived in India as part of her visit to participate in the 16th India–Japan Annual Summit.
Takaichi arrived in New Delhi on Wednesday for a three-day official visit. This is her first visit to India since assuming office as Prime Minister of Japan. She will remain in India from July 1 to July 3.
It is expected that cooperation between India and Japan in sectors such as semiconductor manufacturing, artificial intelligence, and defence will strengthen economic stability across the Asian region.
In a post on X, the spokesperson for India’s Ministry of External Affairs said the visit is expected to help advance the global partnership between India and Japan.
