IndiGo Flight Disruptions Continue; Over 1,000 Services Expected to be Affected Today

Mumbai: IndiGo flight operations will remain disrupted today as well. More than 1000 services are expected to be affected, IndiGo CEO Peter Elbers announced. Nine flights from Thiruvananthapuram have been cancelled. Services from major cities including Delhi, Chennai, Mumbai, and Bengaluru have also been cancelled.

Several IndiGo and Air India flights arriving from and departing to Mumbai, New Delhi, and other cities experienced delays of 2–3 hours. Seventeen flights departing from Mangaluru were delayed by more than 30 minutes. An IndiGo flight scheduled to leave for New Delhi on December 3 departed only on Thursday morning, forcing passengers to remain at the airport overnight.

Considering the severe disruptions, airport authorities have advised all passengers with advance bookings to check the status of their flights before heading to the airport.
