ED Attaches Assets of Al-Falah University in Red Fort Blast Case

New Delhi: On Friday, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has attached the assets of Al-Falah University in connection with the Delhi Red Fort blast case. Assets worth 140 crore rupees have been seized under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA). The ED stated that further scrutiny of the university’s financial transactions is underway.


Meanwhile, five accused in the blast case that took place in the national capital on November 10 were earlier remanded to the custody of the National Investigation Agency (NIA). The accused—Adeel, Musammil, Dr. Shaheen Saeed, Irfan, and Jasir Bilal Wani—had previously been sent to judicial custody.


The custody was sought for further interrogation in connection with the case. The accused were produced before the court recently. The Delhi blast claimed the lives of 15 people.
