Bengaluru: A massive drug raid took place in Karnataka, where foreign women were caught with 4.7 kg of cocaine worth Rs 24 crore at Kempegowda International Airport. On the 17th, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) apprehended Brazilian women. Officials stated that even their clothing was soaked in cocaine.

The Bengaluru unit received primary information that a passenger traveling from São Paulo to Doha, and then from Doha to Bengaluru, was smuggling drugs. Acting on this information, the women were immediately arrested upon arrival at the airport.

The NCB team subsequently checked the women’s baggage and found four handbags. Clothes mixed with cocaine were discovered inside the luggage. The women have been taken into custody for further questioning.
