Doctors Caught Sleeping in ICU Beds at LG Hospital in Gujarat, Investigation Launched

Ahmedabad: A video of on-duty doctors sleeping in ICU beds has gone viral on social media. This incident occurred at LG Hospital, which is run by the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation. The visuals clearly show one doctor sleeping, while another doctor arrives to examine a patient in the next bed.

As the video went viral, the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation initiated an investigation into the matter. The hospital authorities stated that the resident doctors who were on duty were the ones seen sleeping in the ICU beds. An investigation has been ordered to determine how many people were involved in the incident.

People are being referred to LG Hospital due to the shortage of beds in hospitals across the city. However, complaints are rising that patients are being sent to other hospitals because there are no available beds at LG Hospital.
