“I am going to kill your sister”: Husband Threatened Brother-in-Law Before Killing Pregnant Delhi Police Commando

New Delhi: Shocking new details have emerged in the case of Delhi Police SWAT commando Kajal Choudhary, who was brutally killed by her husband, Ankur Choudhary. The attack took place on the night of January 22, when Ankur struck Kajal on the head with a dumbbell.

During the assault, Ankur reportedly called Kajal’s brother, Nikhil, and threatened him, saying, “I am going to kill your sister.” At the time, Kajal was speaking to Nikhil on the phone. Ankur snatched the phone and told him, “Did you record this call? You can use it as evidence. I am going to kill your sister-in-law.” Nikhil also stated that he could hear Kajal’s cries during the attack.

Kajal, who was four months pregnant, later succumbed to her injuries while undergoing treatment. Police investigations indicate that the murder stemmed from ongoing financial disputes. Kajal’s family alleged that Ankur and his relatives had repeatedly harassed her over dowry demands following their marriage in 2023.

The couple had a one-and-a-half-year-old son. Ankur, a clerk in the Ministry of Defence, has been arrested by the police.
