CJP Extends Support to Protest in Jharkhand Against Recruitment Exam Irregularities

Ranchi: The protest at Jantar Mantar will spread to Jharkhand, CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke said. The CJP announced its support for students protesting in Jharkhand against alleged irregularities in recruitment examinations conducted by the Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) and the Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC).

The decision was taken following a meeting held at Dipke’s residence. CJP representatives will also participate in the student-led protest.

Hundreds of students have been staging an indefinite sit-in at the Jaipal Singh Munda Stadium in Ranchi since July 29. The protesters have alleged that the JMM-led government is attempting to cover up irregularities in recruitment examinations conducted by the JPSC and JSSC through a CID investigation.

The students pointed out that the CID, which had previously investigated the alleged JSSC-CGL question paper leak, found that answers to 135 out of 150 questions had been leaked and that 120 questions matched the examination paper exactly.

They said they had no confidence in the ongoing investigation and demanded an independent probe by the CBI and the ED.

Meanwhile, discussions on CJP’s future plans are underway in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra. The discussions have been scheduled to continue for two days.
