Budget Session Phase Two Resumes Today

New Delhi: The second phase of the budget session of Parliament will resume on Monday after a short break. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is likely to introduce the Corporate Law Amendment Bill in the Lok Sabha. This bill contains provisions to ease corporate regulations. The opposition is expected to intensify its protest against the central government's inaction regarding the LPG crisis. The Speaker has yet to make a decision on the impeachment notice filed by the opposition against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. The opposition may also raise this issue.
