Air India Flight From Delhi to Mumbai Returns Mid-Air After Oil Pressure Drops to Zero

New Delhi: An Air India flight operating from Delhi to Mumbai was forced to make an emergency return shortly after take-off on Sunday after a technical issue was detected mid-air. The aircraft turned back when the oil pressure reportedly dropped to zero during the flight.
The incident involved Air India flight AI 887, a Boeing 777-337 ER aircraft, which had departed from Indira Gandhi International Airport for Mumbai. Soon after take-off, the crew noticed the technical malfunction and decided to return as a precautionary measure.
The aircraft landed safely back in Delhi at around 6:40 am. Airport authorities confirmed that all passengers were safely deboarded and no injuries were reported.
