Eight Killed in Fire Following Explosion at Firecracker Factory in Ahmedabad

Ahmedabad: At least eight people were killed after a fire broke out following an explosion at a firecracker manufacturing unit in Ahmedabad, according to a report by The New Indian Express.

The explosion occurred at the factory located near Ramol Gatrad Road in Ahmedabad.

Five others were injured in the incident and have been admitted to L.G. Hospital for treatment.

Rescue operations are currently underway, with reports indicating that the death toll could rise further. Fire and rescue teams have been deployed to the site to bring the blaze under control and to search for anyone who may still be trapped inside the factory.

The exact cause of the explosion has not yet been determined.
