ABVP Attacks Students at JNU

New Delhi: An ABVP attack occurred against students on the JNU campus during a protest march on Monday morning. The clash took place during a march organised by the JNU student union demanding the resignation of Vice-Chancellor Shanthishree Dhulipudi Pandit.
The student council stated that the students were protesting peacefully when ABVP members began pelting stones and assaulting unarmed students. The union alleged that, although university authorities did not intervene during the march, they turned a blind eye when ABVP unleashed violence. ABVP, however, denied the allegations.
Reports say that the situation on campus remains tense and has not yet calmed down. The university authorities have not responded to the incident so far.
