MSF Malappuram District Committee Passes Resolution Against Muslim League Ministers Over Personal Staff Appointments

Malappuram: The MSF Malappuram district committee has passed a sharp resolution against Muslim League ministers over appointments to their personal staff, expressing strong displeasure that people recommended by the MSF were overlooked in favour of indivisuald they like. The resolution states that making appointments arbitrarily to personal staff, bypassing the organisation's recommendations, amounts to a betrayal of its workers and the movement.
The resolution alleges that ministers sidelined the sub-committee constituted to ensure transparency in appointments. Those who spent ten years protesting on the streets for the organisation were deliberately excluded, while people not active on party platforms or in protest were instead given positions. Members already serving on MPs' personal staff were also given prominent posts by the ministers, which the resolution terms as injustice and monopolisation of positions.
The resolution states that the MSF being ignored in the corridors of power even when the party is part of the government has caused disappointment at the grassroots level, and that ministers protecting only their own interests is affecting the cohesion of the movement. The resolution, signed by MSF district general secretary Adv Jaseel Parambaan, demands that the Muslim League leadership be prepared to review the appointments.
