Rain Intensifies in Keralam; IMD Warns of Rain in Eight Districts

Thiruvananthapuram: Rain is picking up again across Keralam, with the India Meteorological Department warning of rainfall in eight districts over the next three hours. The warning covers Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Ernakulam, Kozhikode, Kannur and Kasaragod, where isolated moderate rain and winds of up to 30 km/h are likely.

Strong winds accompanied by light rain are also forecast in five districts — Thiruvananthapuram, Idukki, Thrissur, Malappuram and Wayanad. The department has advised the public to remain vigilant.
