IMD Upgrades Rain Alert in Three Districts in Keralam

Thiruvananthapuram: Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, and Kasaragod have been upgraded from green to yellow alert by the India Meteorological Department, with isolated heavy rain forecast across these districts.

The alerts join Alappuzha, Ernakulam, Thrissur, Malappuram, Wayanad, and Kannur, which were already under yellow alert for the day. Kozhikode remains under orange alert. Heavy rainfall is forecast to intensify across the state again from the 21st of this month.
