Nagoya: India secured the bronze medal in the women's skeet team event at the Asian Games 2026 in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan, with the trio of Parinaaz Dhaliwal, Raiza Dhillon and Maheshwari Chauhan finishing with a combined score of 331. Dhillon and Dhaliwal each contributed 111 out of a possible 125, while Chauhan added 109 to round out India's total.

China's team of Che Yufei, Jian Yiting and Jiang Chaoyu claimed gold with a score of 357, while Kazakhstan's trio of Assem Orynbay, Zoya Piskun and Adel Sadakbayeva took silver with 336, finishing well clear of the Indian shooters.

The medal adds to a strong overall showing for the Indian shooting contingent at the Games, which has already produced several podium finishes across rifle and pistol events, including a silver and bronze double in the men's 10m air rifle individual competition, a silver in women's individual event, a silver in women's 10m air rifle team event and a silver in the men's 10m air rifle team event. India's shooters have been among the country's most consistent performers at Aichi-Nagoya, continuing to add to the nation's overall medal tally as the Games progressed into their fifth day.
