Complaint to AICC against Mankootathil; KPCC directed to investigate

Thiruvananthapuram: The Congress high command has intervened in the allegations against Rahul Mankootathil. Complaints earlier received by the AICC against Rahul have been handed over to the KPCC. AICC general secretary in charge of the state, Deep Das Munshi, has instructed the KPCC leadership to conduct an inquiry into the matter.

The high command is also considering removing Rahul from the post of Youth Congress state president. However, no decision has yet been taken within the party on whether he should resign from his MLA position. It is also reported that Opposition Leader V D Satheesan and KPCC president Sunny Joseph held informal discussions regarding the allegations against Rahul.
