Worms Found in Breakfast Served at State School Sports Meet

Kozhikode: Worms were found in food served at the catering centre of the State School Sports Meet on Tuesday morning. The worms were discovered in the breakfast served to students, and several news media released photographs showing the contamination.

Parents of the children lodged a complaint with the organisers. However, the organisers have not been willing to comment on the incident. Members of the food committee were also contacted, but they did not answer their phones.

The incident is unprecedented in the history of the State School Sports Meet. The contaminated food was served to children who were preparing to compete in their events. They had to take part in the competitions without eating breakfast.
