Walayar Lynching: Ram Narayan Bhayyal’s Body to Be Flown to Chhattisgarh Today

Thrissur: Thrissur District Collector Arjun Pandian has informed that arrangements have been made to transport the body of Ram Narayan Bhayyal, who was killed in a mob attack at Walayar in Palakkad, along with his family members, to their native place by air. Ram Narayan Bhayyal’s body will be flown from Kochi to Raipur on Tuesday morning. Revenue Minister K Rajan and the District Collector had held discussions with Ram Narayan’s family members.

The seven-member group, including Ram Narayan’s family members who had come to Kerala, will also travel to Raipur by air. Ambulance facilities have been arranged to take them from Raipur to their village in Chhattisgarh.

District Collector Arjun Pandian spent time with Ram Narayan Bhayyal’s family members and consoled them, assuring them of all possible support. He gifted pens to the children and sent off Ram Narayan Bhayyal’s children with a reminder to study well. The Palakkad district administration is taking steps to ensure that the family receives the eligible financial assistance at the earliest.
