Walayar Lynching a Murder Led by BJP–RSS Criminals: Minister R Bindu

Thrissur: Minister R Bindu has stated that the incident at Walayar was a murder carried out under the leadership of BJP–RSS criminals. She was speaking to media persons in Thrissur.

She said that such murders are being repeatedly reported in North India almost on a daily basis under the leadership of BJP–RSS criminals. The tendency to attack poor people and those belonging to socially backward castes in groups is commonly seen in places where the BJP gains strength. This incident, she said, is yet another repetition of such violence.

The minister added that the government stands firmly with the family of the deceased, Ramnarayan Bhayyal. All necessary protection will be provided to them, arrangements will be made to bring the body back to his native place, and appropriate compensation will be given to the family, she assured.

Meanwhile, the police remand report, which was released today, reveal the brutal assault faced by Bhayyal. Five people, including four BJP workers, have been arrested in the case.
