Thiruvananthapuram: Minister M.B. Rajesh said in the assembly that the opposition has failed to raise any core issues against the government. As the opposition, they are unable to bring up any popular issues. That is why, over the course of two sessions, this banner has been permanently displayed in the central hall. It reflects the weakness of the opposition.

In the central hall of the assembly, he added that the opposition, which is protesting on the floor, will be thrown into the abyss in the upcoming elections. He further stated that when this assembly ends, the opposition will have to leave as a disarmed group. The opposition lacks the courage to even bring a no-confidence motion against the government because they have no faith in their own position.

He also mentioned that Amit Shah’s announcement to wipe out the Left in this election was based on his confidence that he could win over the Congress. The BJP knows it cannot come to power in Kerala, so their strategy is to help the Congress win by supporting the UDF and eventually bring them into the BJP fold, similar to what happened in Karnataka, Goa, Arunachal Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Bihar. The minister concluded by stating that the people will respond to this in the upcoming election.
