Four-Year-Old Boy Seriously Injured in Stray Dog Attack in Palakkad

Palakkad: Three people, including a young child, sustained serious injuries in a stray dog attack in Thrithala, Palakkad. The injured child has been identified as four-year-old Muhammad Bilal, son of Ashraf from Kottayil. The attack occurred while the boy was playing in the courtyard of his house. A pack of stray dogs mauled the child's face.

Bilal is currently undergoing treatment at the Thrissur Medical College Hospital.

The incident took place on Thursday morning. The child suffered deep bite injuries to his head and face. He was immediately taken to the Thrithala hospital and later shifted to Thrissur due to the severity of his injuries. Doctors said Bilal is receiving specialised medical care.

Two other people living near the child’s house were also injured in attacks by stray dogs. All of them are undergoing treatment.
