State-Level Inauguration of 27 Smart Village Offices in Kerala by Minister K. Rajan

Thiruvananthapuram: To improve the services of village offices, the state-level inauguration of 27 smart villages in various districts, which have been upgraded with modern facilities, will be held today. The smart village offices will be inaugurated by Minister K. Rajan at 4:30 PM this evening.
The event will take place at the Vattiyurkaav Village Office premises in Thiruvananthapuram, and MLA V. K. Prasanth will preside over the function. The minister will also inaugurate the Mini Revenue Tower built with the MLA Special Development Fund. The function will be attended by Mayor V. V. Rajesh, MP Shashi Tharoor, Revenue Department Secretary M. G. Rajamanickam, Land Revenue Commissioner Jeevan Babu K., District Collector Anukumari, and other representatives, including political party members.
Similar functions will be held in various assembly constituencies, where the respective MLAs will preside. Out of the 885 villages that have received administrative approval, 595 have already become smart villages. Among the 117 villages currently under construction, 27 have now been upgraded to smart villages. The remaining 173 villages are in various stages of project implementation.
