SSLC Examination Results Announced; 99.5% Pass Rate

Thiruvananthapuram: The results of the SSLC examination have been officially announced by Education Minister V Sivankutty. This year’s pass percentage stands at 99.5per cent, a slight dip compared to last year's 99.69 per cent, marking a decrease of 0.19per cent. A total of 4,24,583 students have qualified for higher education. Meanwhile, 61,449 students secured full A+ grades, which is 10,382 fewer than last year’s 71,831. The minister announced the results at a press conference held in Thiruvananthapuram.
Kannur tops in performance among revenue districtswith a pass percentage of 99.87 per cent. Thiruvananthapuram ranks lowest among revenue districts with 98.59 per cent. Among educational districts, Pala and Mavelikkara recorded a perfect 100 per cent pass rate, while Attingal registered the lowest at 98.28 per cent.
Malappuram recorded the highest number of full A+ holders among educational districts, with 4,115 students achieving the distinction. However, this is a decrease from last year’s 4,934. The school with the highest number of examinees was PKMMHSS Edarikkode, where 2,017 students appeared for the exams.
Among SC category students, 39,981 appeared for the exams, and 39,447 passed, resulting in a 98.66 per cent success rate. In the ST category, 7,279 students appeared, and 7,135 passed, with a pass percentage of 98.02 per cent. All 66 students who appeared for the AHSLC exams passed. Similarly, all 12 students who appeared for the THSLC (Hearing Impaired) exams also passed.
Applications for revaluation can be submitted online from May 12 to 17. The Say Exams will be held from May 28 to June 2. The Minister also added that certificates for successful candidates will be available on DigiLocker from the first week of June.
