SFI, Left Candidates Win Kerala University Syndicate, Agricultural University General Council Elections

Thiruvananthapuram: SFI and Left candidates have won the elections for the student representative to the Kerala University Syndicate and the Kerala Senate representative to the Agricultural University General Council.

SFI candidate S Sreejith won the student representative election with 38 votes, while Left candidate Priya Priyadarshan secured 36 votes to win the General Council seat.

Sreejith is an MA Philosophy student at University College. KSU candidate A S Sidhdhi secured 28 votes, while the ABVP did not field a candidate.

Priya Priyadarshan is an assistant professor at Sree Narayana College, Cherthala. Assistant Professor Vishnu Gopan of MG College, Thiruvananthapuram, and Kavalam Samskriti president G Sajikumar were the UDF and BJP candidates, respectively.
