Sandeep Warrier, Ranjitha Pulickal Named in FIR for Online Harassment

Thiruvananthapuram/Pathanamthitta: Sandeep Warrier and Mahila Congress Pathanamthitta District Secretary Ranjitha Pulickal have been named in FIRs in cases related to online harassment and insults. Both cases are connected to the ongoing sexual assault case against MLA Rahul Mamkoottathil.

Sandeep Warrier has been named as the fourth accused in the harassment of the woman who filed the sexual assault complaint against Rahul Mamkoottathil. The cyber police registered the case following the survivor’s complaint, which cited abusive social media posts that revealed her identity.

Rahul Eshwar has also been named in connection with the harassment, having allegedly posted videos and content on social media and his YouTube channel insulting the survivor. Reports indicate that prior to the complaint, both Rahul and Sandeep had made offensive remarks about the survivor through multiple UDF handles, and the harassment escalated after the complaint, including posts exposing her identity.

In Pathanamthitta, Ranjitha Pulickal has been named in a separate FIR for allegedly insulting Youth Congress State General Secretary Sajan B. Sajan on social media. The remarks were reportedly circulated through a video on the 27th. The Thiruvananthapuram Cyber Police are investigating the case. Earlier, Bindu Binu, Mahila Congress Pathanamthitta District General Secretary, had
