Total 332.77 crore; record revenue at Sabarimala this season

Pathanamthitta: Sabarimala has recorded a record revenue this season, with a total collection of 332.77 crore rupees. This includes income from offerings, annadanam (food donations), Aravana (special offerings), room rentals, and Kuthakalam (ritual fees), with offerings alone contributing 83.17 crore rupees.


Last year, after 41 days, the revenue was 297.06 crore rupees, while this year, after 40 days, an additional 35.70 crore rupees was earned. Last year, revenue from offerings alone was 80.25 crore rupees.

By Saturday noon, 30,56,871 devotees had darshan at Sabarimala, with 37,521 visiting on Friday and 17,818 on Mandalapooja day by 1 pm. Last season, by the end of the Mandala period, 32,49,756 devotees had visited.

Over 30 lakh devotees completed darshan during the Sabarimala Mandala season, and the shrine will reopen on December 30 at 5 pm for the Makara Vilakku festival. Those wishing to have darshan during the days associated with Makara Vilakku and the subsequent Kumbhamasam poojas can book slots through the virtual queue portal.


Virtual booking has been confirmed for January 11 for 70,000 people, January 12 for 70,000 people, January 13 for 35,000 people, and January 14 for 30,000 people.
