Minister’s Husband Inaugurates New KSRTC Bus Service in Chirayinkeezhu

Thiruvananthapuram: S Krishna Kumar, husband of Minister Bindu Krishna, flagged off and inaugurated a new KSRTC Fast Passenger bus service from Thiruvananthapuram to Kollam via Chirayinkeezhu. The event was held in Chirayinkeezhu on Monday.
The bus service was launched during the LDF government’s tenure but was discontinued later. Krishna Kumar inaugurated the resumption of the service. Chirayinkeezhu MLA Ramya Haridas had been announced as the person who would inaugurate the event, but she did not attend. Krishna Kumar took her place and conducted the inauguration in his capacity as DCC general secretary.
KSRTC officials and other public representatives attended the function.
Instead of assigning the inauguration to another public representative in the MLA’s absence, Krishna Kumar took on the role himself. In his inaugural address, he also assured that all discontinued KSRTC services would be resumed.
Congress workers and others have raised allegations that Krishna Kumar is effectively controlling the administration through his wife, Minister Bindu Krishna.
