Police Name Rahul Mamkootathil's Close Aide Fenny Ninan in Attempted Assault on YouTuber Rajan Joseph Outside Station

Pathanamthitta: Police have said that the group which attempted to assault YouTuber Rajan Joseph outside the Adoor Police Station was led by Fenny Ninan, a close associate of Rahul Mamkootathil. A case has been registered against 20 individuals in connection with the incident.
Rajan Joseph was taken into police custody from Kochi following a complaint filed by Sreenadevi Kunjamma, a Pathanamthitta District Panchayat member, alleging that he had defamed her through social media posts.
According to the police, the incident occurred at around 10 pm on Saturday while Rajan Joseph was being brought to the Adoor Police Station. A group of around 30 people intercepted the police vehicle.
Police said the group attempted to drag Rajan Joseph out of the vehicle and assault him. Police officer Nidhin, who intervened to stop the attack, sustained injuries to his lip. Additional police personnel later arrived at the scene and dispersed the crowd, after which Rajan Joseph was taken into the station. The injured officer received treatment at Adoor General Hospital.
The police investigation has identified Fenny Ninan and his associates as being involved in the incident. A case has been registered against them for obstructing a police vehicle and assaulting a police officer.
Following the incident, Rahul Mamkootathil visited the Adoor Police Station on Sunday morning. Sreenadevi Kunjamma, who had lodged the complaint against Rajan Joseph, also arrived at the station. Videos showing Rajan Joseph being escorted into the police station were later shared on social media by Rahul's supporters, drawing public attention.
