CM Pinarayi Vijayan Sends Letter to Students Who Thanked Him for Moving School to New Township in Wayanad

Kalpetta: Students of Kalpetta Government LP School received a reply letter from Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan after they wrote to thank him for the government’s decision to shift their school to the new township built for survivors of the Chooralmala-Mundakkai landslide disaster.

In his reply, the Chief Minister told the students that they would soon be able to study and play in a better environment in the new school and expressed hope that they would grow into great individuals in the future. He also encouraged them to study well and write again with details about the new school once it is established. During the imauguration of the township in Kalpetta, the CM announced that the land for the school would be allotted.

The students had earlier sent a letter expressing happiness after the Chief Minister announced that the school would be shifted to the township. Around 50 students from the school had signed and sent the letter. At present, the school is functioning with limited facilities.

In his message to the children, the Chief Minister said he had read their letter with great interest and recalled the severe hardships faced by the people of Mundakkai and Chooralmala. He noted that the government and the public are making significant efforts to rebuild the lives and dreams shattered by the disaster and that the new township represents resilience and hope for the region.

He also told the students that receiving such letters from him brings great joy and encouragement, adding that the love and support of people, including children, gives the government strength to overcome crisis and move forward. Students and teachers of the school expressed their joy at receiving the personal reply from the Chief Minister.
