BJP No-Confidence Motion Fails in Pathanamthitta's Naranganam

Pathanamthitta: The no-confidence motion brought by the BJP against the UDF vice president of Naranganam panchayat in Pathanamthitta has failed.

The motion against the UDF vice president could not be taken up for discussion as members of both the LDF and UDF stayed away, resulting in a lack of quorum.

The BJP had lost control of the panchayat after the LDF supported a no-confidence motion brought by the UDF on August 6.

The panchayat has six BJP members, six UDF members and two LDF members.
