Names Can Be Added to the Voter List Until the 23rd

Thiruvananthapuram: The opportunity to add names to the voter list will remain open until the last date for submitting nomination papers, which is the 23rd. Anyone who has turned 18 can register. To register, one must apply through the website voters.eci.gov.in or the Voter Helpline mobile application. To register as a new voter, visit the 'New Voter Registration' link on the website and fill out 'Form 6'. For expatriate voters, 'Form 6A' is available. Assistance can also be obtained by contacting the Booth Level Officers (BLOs). Additionally, 'Form 8' can be used to change booth locations or update address details.

Along with the application, a color passport-sized photo, documents verifying age and address, the identification card number of a close relative, and a mobile number must be uploaded. The BLOs will visit and verify the details before adding the name to the voter list.
