M V Govindan Calls for Anti-War Resolve in Eid Ul-Fitr Message

Thiruvananthapuram: CPI(M) state secretary M V Govindan has called for renewing a collective resolve against war in his Eid Ul-Fitr message.
He said that the holy month of Ramadan, which spread messages of peace and brotherhood across the world, coincided with brutal attacks by imperialist forces against people in Iran. He noted that the consequences of war are now affecting even everyday lives, including household kitchens.
Govindan urged people to reaffirm their commitment to resist war-driven aggression that disrupts human life and peace. He concluded by extending wishes for a joyful and peaceful Eid filled with happiness and harmony.
