League Worker Remanded in Custody in Sexual Abuse Case Involving Visually Impaired Students

Malappuram: A Muslim League worker has been remanded in custody in connection with a sexual abuse case involving students of the Vallikkappatta School for the Blind. The accused, Mangatt Mustafa (50), a native of South Arayankode in Chathamangalam, Kozhikode district, was arrested by the Malappuram Police.


The accused was produced before the court and remanded. The abuse was allegedly committed against male students of the institution. Based on complaints filed by the authorities, two cases have been registered against him.


Mustafa is reportedly an active League worker from Vellilassery.
