Minister M B Rajesh Slams Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah’s Tweet Criticising Malayalam Language Bill

Minister M B Rajesh said that Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s tweet related to the Malayalam Language Bill is dangerous. He clarified that Siddaramaiah had claimed the bill was an attempt to impose the Malayalam language, but stressed that there is no such provision in the language minorities bill.

“The bill was unanimously passed by the Kerala Legislative Assembly. It is fully in compliance with the Constitution. Like the Sangh Parivar, the Congress too is attempting to spread hatred. This is a reaction to Kerala’s response to houses being demolished in Karnataka's Yelahanka under ‘bulldozer rule,’” the minister said. He also demanded that Siddaramaiah withdraw his statement.

On the Sabarimala investigation, the minister said the government has not made any statement and questioned why the Congress is feeling uneasy about it. He added that the Congress does not now display the same enthusiasm it showed earlier while singing parody songs.
