Majority in Beypore to Increase: Mohammed Riyas

Kozhikode: LDF candidate P.A. Mohammed Riyas stated that the majority in the Beypore constituency will increase this time. He was speaking to the media in Kozhikode after announcing his candidacy. He emphasised that the LDF will secure more votes in Beypore than the 82,000 votes it received in the previous election. In 2016, the LDF received two percent more votes in the state compared to 2021, while in Beypore, it was a five percent increase. The vote share has also seen significant growth.

As an MLA, Riyas mentioned that the past five years have been spent engaging with the people, and they have recognised this effort at all levels. He expressed confidence that significant progress for the Left Democratic Front is expected in Beypore. He further added that the political situation indicates that the LDF is likely to win all 13 seats in Kozhikode district.
